Nourishing detoxifying body treatment

From marine plants, a rejuvenating elixir of beauty

To give new life to dry, stressed and dehydrated skin, we recommend the nourishing detoxifying body treatment.

The first step consists of a deep massage with Shea butter, which eliminates impurities and, at the same time, provides a noble lipid intake that return softness, elasticity, tone and firmness to the skin.

Next, a mixture of vitamin A, E and F are applied, conveyed via the essential oils of coriander, marjoram, rosemary, sage, lavender and bitter orange to add a number of beneficial effects, such as stimulating circulation - with the consequent improvement of the nourishment of skin tissue – dermo-purification, dermo-restructuring, the regeneration of the skin and a general sense of relaxation.

The final touch is a massage followed by a pack of laminaria algae and micronized fucus. Their use stimulates circulation by promoting a series of effects: revitalizing, soothing, anti-stress and relaxing. There is also is also hydrolysed collagen and elastin in the compound, to give strength and flexibility to the skin: associated with thymol, it has a skin-firming effect.

Algae are used on our planet for more than a billion years and contain a mix of ingredients beneficial to human health. It is essential, however, that these are fresh – not fermented - before being dried and transformed in the micronization process. These steps guarantee the conservation of the beneficial elements in their chemical makeup.

Laminaria and focus are a valuable source of natural mucilage: they have emollient, softening, demulcent and anti-irritant properties. In addition, they are particularly rich in vitamin E, C and B as well as trace elements such as iron, chromium, manganese, potassium, zinc, copper, calcium and selenium, all offering a re-mineralizing effect. In particular, the presence of potassium aids the elimination of oedematous subcutaneous liquids and their toxins, while the presence of zinc and manganese promotes dermo-restructuring.

Finally, selenium has an effective anti-free radical effect and is highly protective for the skin. The result is purified, nourished and hydrated skin, soft and supple to the touch, better prepared to receive any further therapy such as the anti-cellulite treatment.
